LG Electronics has launched its 83-inch OLED TV on Sunday (June 20). The South Korean tech giant is trying to make a mark in the premium TV market. LG’s 83-inch OLED TV 83 C1 will be available in South Korea and the United States (USA) earlier this month. In South Korea, the TV is priced at 9,630 (approximately Rs 7.14 lakh).
Features of LG 83 C1 OLED TV
The new TV is an extension of LG’s OLED TV lineup, with 48-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, 77-inch and 88-inch models already available. The 88-inch model has been introduced with 8K resolution. According to LG, the 83C1 has advanced features along with 4K High Frame technology. These features give a better experience while playing and watching the game.
According to Yonhap News, the TV won the Innovation Award at the Consumer Electronics Show 2021. There the TV was highly praised in the gaming and video display category. LG, the world’s leading OLED TV maker, is hoping for better performance in markets across the globe with its 83-inch TV. An 83-inch TV could drive sales of larger premium TVs.
